Very thoughtful post. I too use my pagan spirituality as a happy "escape" from the cares of the world, and tie it in with my love of nature and animals. That said, I definitely am a political being (liberal and tolerant of course), but do post political essays under a filter, as I know not everyone wants to read about politics.
