I've found I am less afraid of the garden spiders - tiny black ones, and some fantastic ones in bright green the colour of the grass.

I'm not sure why, but I guess fear of spiders is partly a thing you learn. I am quite scared of the ones that come into the house, but I suppose the ones outside are "in their proper place", as well as looking very different, so they're nice to watch.
