One of the nice things about developing a system from scratch is like

maybe I'm just difficult, but I dont like to be told what to do - I see a spell in a book, and my first question is "ok but why is that how it works?". The elements are slowly making their way back into my system, and you could call that reinventing the wheel - but on the other hand, what they are now are things I discovered for myself, things that are really embedded into how I see the otherworlds.

Anyway, one thing I've independently discovered is that - if you have a 3 Domain system that breaks down into 6 Subdomains, and from those you derive "four" elements - then when you look at where those four elements are placed on a glyph in relation to the 6 points, it suddenly makes sense to represent the "four" elements on a pentagram (which was always a bit crap, let's be honest)

A barrier for me to get into that was the idea that the fifth was "spirit", like, some kind of white light Jesus analogue. If there's four elements there's four and they're not a pentagram. But what I've come down to is a way of representing that fifth point as basically, the Stellar, as this specific point of pulsing chaos and suddenly this concept works for me.

Additionally, in my reading today I've discovered that classical elements in other non-Greek nations, it's common for the fifth element to be described as "void" which - hello, that works. And in Medieval alchemy, it is associated with both Aether (which is what space is made of, a common Stellar characteristic), and Quintessence which seems to be its twin and is bright and less frightening.

So yeah, it's possible I'm going to swap out Solar for Quintessence and Stellar for Aether in the near future, because it is silly the amount of time I spend saying "lunar has nothing to do with the moon, stellar doesn't relate to stars" - this is also a bit crap, even if I'm used to it.
