Your friend has ethics, and that makes for an entirely different and more positive situation. I'm assuming she has partners who happily give / exchange energy with her? Again, a positive situation, especially when it's consensual. Her book sounds fascinating, as well as very helpful. It certainly does put a different spin on the best way one can protect oneself in a psi / energy sense.

As you say, the negative unethical ones give a bad rep to energy vampires, which is a shame. Your friend's book will certainly help with dispelling that.

There's a couple of psi vampires I'm acquainted with at the market that display zero ethics - They prefer to feed on negative energies they generate from others. I've observed them deliberately stir up trouble, upset, and anger in a very aggressive way so that they can feed on the resultant discharge. To someone like me, who's an empath, it's very obvious what they're doing, and that they're doing it deliberately and with purpose.

That said, I've also encountered those who are totally unaware that they're seeking and feeding on psychic energy. They don't have a clue what they're doing. They are probably folks with naturally low energies (or are just depleted energy wise for whatever health related reason) and so are attracted to positive energy sources. They don't stir up anger and negativity though, so are basically pretty harmless.

It's a mixed bag, that's for sure.
