& the reality is that this kind of thing is hard, which is to say; it's hard to develop practical skills of this kind without a lot of practice, learning from others, learning from what works and what doesn't, making judgements about other people's skills and what you might want to bring in to your own work and what you want to avoid. It isn't easy at all.
