A variation of this is popular on Pern RP sites, because a color code (or series thereof) is used to represent the speech of an individual dragon, wher, or fire-lizard. One of the first codes I learned for my characters was #5f3512, who is a brown dragon named Argoth. He's a bit shy, but very sweet. Another of mine, #113355 was a blue dragon named Amdeith, who was a very intent, orderly fellow (the site closed down, sadly). I always remembered that code, because it was a perfect chord of music on a piano -- fingers 1, 3, and 5.
