sometimes you read a blog complaining about this or that issue in paganism, but there's so much complaining & its like...so why are you here, what do you like about it, that's like. the whole thing. you're calling out everything.
what is it that you do. what is left when you take those things out XD

Communities are just 'the people that exist in a time and place', not an abstraction, or something you can pre-define from behind a computer desk; so if somebody's problem is they want a community (that they've imagined in their head) but the communities that exist irl are just groups of people, and all you can do is be open to the ways that others are, not how you would like them to be.
(this doesn't count for like, 'is this person dangerous' obvs, but most of the grumbling is a lot of fancy words to say 'these people are cringe' & it's like. We are a social community that does magic and worships myth. *Cheshire Cat Voice* 'we're all cringe here!' and you included XD It's actually MORE cringe not to throw your whole heart into it)
