RE: ritual garb

My husband said - and I thought it was important enough to add:

He always feels wary of wearing his ritual garb around others, in case certain colours or styles are limited to certain grades or qualifications. At least, initially. He doesn't want to imply knowledge or seniority he doesn't have. I think that's a very wise thing to take into consideration wrt your local scene - of course, one can never be eternally aware of what symbols every grove and coven use. But you probably can learn the language for the scene(s) you primarily interact with, and I'd agree that it's worth doing.

The hotel which is the house i most desire in all the world is up for sale, and...

...sometimes you have fantasies and those fantasies bring you joy just having them, like thinking about going to a beach or looking forward to Christmas. This is not one of those fantasies. I want to cry, big heavy distress tears, at the thought of it.

The dudes really old and running it single handed and wanted to retire in like 2014, so...Idk. There's this fantasy of going to the hotel and he sees how much I love it and will take care of it, not modernising it but loving it for what it is. And decides to sell it to me at a fraction of its value. I understand that's not how real estate works in the real world, and yet...its how it works for me. I couldn't bear to sell a place I loved to strangers who would trash it. So...

I'm the wrong person to run a beautiful old run-down hotel, though, because if someone visited my shabby weird old building with its little nooks and crannies and strange smells, and chose to be rude about it, I would definitely kill them.

...should I write to the hotel dude? I know this is just me not taking my meds & one of those "this will definitely work!" mania/grandiosity fantasies ill think better of tomorrow.

But.

Fortune favours the bold. And...I definitely think he'd be more inclined to sell it to a person who wouldn't change or wreck it, definitely.
